Lewis Library Publication Takes the Gold Twice
The Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) recently awarded the commemorative program for the dedication of Princeton University’s Lewis Library two gold medals as part of their 2009 Circle of Excellence Awards. One gold was in the Special Program Publications category and the other gold was for Excellence in Design. The program was a group effort encompassing my photography, design by Donna Ching of ChingFoster, and printing by Finlay Printing.
The program has four different page sizes, each creating a mass to mimic the structure of the building, and was printed with spot use of metallic ink to highlight the surfaces of Frank Gehry’s design.
I have a gallery of my work on the project on my web site. I’ve also written about it in the blog here:

Congratulations! My mother says she’s glad that they agreed with our sense of awe when we saw it.
Thanks.
